Great is Thy Faithfulness

This artwork is a limited edition meaning only a small number of these will ever be made available. Every limited edition comes signed and numbered by Jake Weidmann and has an accompanying certificate of edition. Every limited edition artwork’s price increases as it sells out. Our best prices are "Early Collector's Pricing" when the artwork is in its earlier stages of its limited run.

Almost 100 years after it was originally written, "Great is Thy Faithfulness" was painted, penned and gilded by Weidmann as a way to preserve this classic hymn. In a global pandemic, Weidmann found himself dedicating his life to this particular hymn at a time when the world needed its reminder: God is faithful through every circumstance and in every season. 

All four seasons are represented throughout the border of this design to represent the passing of time that is mentioned in the line, "Summer and winter and springtime and harvest," with the contrast to the promise of God's unchanging character: "There is no shadow of turning with Thee / Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not / As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be."

A swan graces the letter "F" in the title as a symbol of God's fidelity, favor, protection and covering.
